EXCELLENCE AND SAFETY IN MEDICAL FACIAL AESTHETICS
Medical aesthetics is the practice of using medical procedures to help achieve a patient's aesthetic goals. Dental surgeons are uniquely positioned to provide facial aesthetic treatments.
As undergraduates we study in immense depth the development, structure and anatomy of the skeletal and soft tissues of the head and neck. Our clinical training and knowledge of the facial area is outstanding. When we're working on the teeth it's imperative within so many treatment areas that we consider your facial structure as a frame, dentists acquire a very precise aesthetic eye. It's second nature to us to be applying this knowledge, bringing about harmony and balance to the face. That's before we even consider the fact that our years of practicing treatments requiring fine motor skills bring about excellent transferrable skills that are readily applied to provision of cosmetic injectables.

Team this with my postgraduate experience in SHO and staff grade roles in oral and maxillofacial surgery, Royal College of Surgeons qualification, and university-accredited Level 7 PGCert in Non-Surgical Facial Aesthetics, and you can appreciate my clinical position in the field of medical facial aesthetics.
I first entered the field of facial aesthetics back in 2007, when I was working for a national cosmetic surgery group providing tooth whitening, Botox, dermal fillers and chemical peels.

In 2019 I made the decision to advance my training and knowledge in the area of non-surgical facial aesthetics. Achieving a Level 7 Postgraduate Certificate in Non-Surgical Facial Aesthetics from the University of Salford was of particular importance to me. It entailed 600 hours of hands on clinical training and academic research, and both clinical and academic assessments.

Proud to have achieved
